CONSULTATION

 
 

We provide a FREE 30 minute consultation with families. This service is an opportunity to connect with both a speech language pathologist (SLP) and an occupational therapist (OT) to share your child’s strengths and any areas of concern. We offer consultations to provide you with the opportunity to connect with our team, and determine if our services meet the needs of you and your child.

Consultations are currently offered through phone or video-conferencing.

ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT

 
 

ASSESSMENT

We offer comprehensive assessments with either a speech language pathologist or occupational therapist. For a small additional fee, you can access a collaborative assessment with both disciplines.

By accessing our assessment services you will receive the following:

  • Collection of a detailed case history

  • An individualized assessment for your child

  • We will provide a formal report with our observations and any assessment results

  • We will provide recommendations to support your child’s development

  • We will work with you to determine therapeutic goals if you decide to continue accessing our services for treatment

Assessment Fees:

  • $375 (Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist)

  • $475 (Speech Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist)

**additional fees may apply if multiple assessments are requested per clinician

 

TREATMENT

We offer treatment services with Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. We work collaboratively to determine what intervention will meet yours and your child’s needs. Each new application for treatment is reviewed by both disciplines, and we will work alongside one another to integrate our practices, and provide a service that meets your child’s individualized needs.

Our treatment options include:

  1. Individual Therapy:

    Includes individualized treatment for your child where an Occupational Therapist and/or Speech Language Pathologist will work directly with you and your child. Goals will be determined in collaboration with families following an intake session. Services are currently offered in the client’s home, via videoconferencing, or in our clinic space. COVID-19 precautions will be followed at all in person sessions.

    • Intake session rate $200: (includes the session, a detailed intake summary, and a proposed goal document)

    • Session Rates (following the intake session): $145/hr (depending on goals, age of your child, etc. sessions may be less than an hour, and rates will vary)

    • Please note: a mileage fee and travel time fee will apply to therapy conducted in the client’s home

  2. Support for FSCD contracts is also provided through our clinic, and fee schedules are available on request

Some children may qualify for support from Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) Program in Alberta.
